PERU, A CHARMING COUNTRY

Peru, Country of Inca’s Empire, with several climates, with a dazzling sun, all the year. With neighbouring countries like Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and the Pacific Ocean. Peru has a lot to show like its architecture, indigenous culture, customs, relieves and its typical food.

Peru is divided in three areas ( Coast, mountain range, forest). Every area has very different features.

We must remember that one of the Wonders of the World :”The Macchu Picchu Ruins that was founded by the Incas” is in Peru. These Ruins show us its rites, customs, art, etc.

Before arriving to Cuzco you have the chance to visit Arequipa tha is a very charming city because of its people and the great Colca Canyon tha is located in Chivay town.

Peru offers a great chance to see marvelous lanscapes, with a great resource and an amazing culture. there are several mountains which are inhabitated by native people from the region who still conserve their original language and customs:

  • Nazca Lines and Jumana Flats
  • Manu Natural Reserve
  • Cuzco City
  • Machu Picchu
  • Arequipa's Historical Centre

Not withstanding that Peru has a lot of natural resources, it still has the highest poverty percentage in South America.

 

AREQUIPA

It’s called the White City, because of its buildings made of sillar, that is the lava of the volcanoes.

TOURIST PLACES: Saint Catalina, Company’s Cloisters, Museums ( Juanita Mummy ), Yanahuara’s Viewpoint, Sachaca, Sabandia’s Mill, and The Founder Mansión, Cotahuasi, Quequeña, Yumina, Characato, Tiabaya, Chivay.

 

COLCA CANYON (Arequipa)

It’s located to some hours of Arequipa City, and we can see several natural landscapes, the condor, the llama, the vicuna, the vizcacha.We can see a lot of plaints, which are used like medicine from ancient times until now. We can see the condors¡ flight, one of the adventure sports is the trekking.

 

You will have the experience of being with the nature, and with our Inca’s culture like: Medicine’s secrets, architecture, ( buildings and churches’ constructions ), its agricultura, customs, and clothing. And you will see the deepest canyon on the World (The Colca Canyon).

A percentage from your tour goes toward helping our project Santa Teresa, (the orphanage) and also to help women, children and teenagers in need.

NAZCA LINES

They are located in San Jose Pampas over a 50 Km extensión, the geroglifos show animal and plants’ drawings, some of these ones can measure 300 metres with a surface of 1000 square metres.
