HOW CAN I HELP

REQUIREMENTS TO VOLUNTEER WITH US:

• A lot of enthusiasm and compromise.
• Lots of love and hapiness to share with everybody.
• A copy of your passport.
• It’s NOT necessary to know Spanish.
• If possible, bring a reference of a previous volunteer work you may have.
• We’d like to encourage you to let us know the length of your stay to reserve your accomodation.

IMPORTANT: please let us know with anticipation the day of your arrival and the length of your stay. whether you are coming by bus or by plane so that we can pick you up ( the cost will be affordedby the volunteer)

ORGANISATION OF THE VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM

In order to have the best possible experience we recommend to stay for a minimun of two days time, this way, the people who you are helping can get to know you better and you can have the best of experiences with them. However, if it is only one day of volunteering, your fee will be of $ 15.00 American dollars, which will give access to all the available projects.

The price includes transportation to and back from the projects sites, one meal (first day) and a small souvenier gift at the end of your stay.

WEEKLY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

The volunteer program is flexible with your time, that’s to say, it’s up to you how long you decide to stay with us ( there is no limit).

The fee for a week is $ 25.00 American dollars as administration fee.

MONTHLY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

*The fee for each volunteer is $ 50.00 American dollars (Adminitration fee)

Accomodation for one month is $160.00 American dollars. (electricity, water, gas).All rooms are comfortable. Many of them have a private bathroom and a nice kitchenette, they have good ilumination and nice weather all year round, they’re all located near the city centre.

53 hours of spanish lessons $ 5.00 American dollars per hour or $ 265.00 American dollars)

The full price for a complete month of volunteer work is : $ 475.00 American dollars,including one month of spanish lessons and accomodation. You’ll have the chance to help people in this sunny and warm city enjoying sunlight all year round, the rainy season begins in December and finishes in late febuary, rain and sporadic showers only happen in the afternoons or evenings, leaving the mornings to fully enjoy some activities you see more appropriate for you. May we remind you not to expose to this morvelous sun without the proper sunblock though.

There is a deposit of $ 50.00 American dollars,which are not included in the total price and must be paid separatedly from the rest of the price. They will be given back once you finish your stay with us save some damage or items were done to the room you were staying at.

ABOUT THE SPANISH LESSONS

The spanish lesson will be held as follows: the first week will be a super intensive course of 5 hours a day Mon through Friday, schedules will be fixed upon your arrival, the lessons will be held person to person (The teacher and you). The following weeks, you’ll receive two hours a day of spanish lessons for as long as you require them.
